Mixed comeback for Agathe Lecaron. Whereas The Kindergarten Housethe magazine she has been presenting since 2016, achieves good scores on France Télévisions (on France 5, on France 4 and finally on France 2), the new version of Masterchef of which she took the controls struggles to convince the viewers of the second channel of France. The first episode gathered only 1.88 million French viewers, the second 1.55 million. Very bad scores which send France 2 to the bottom of the Top 3 programs on Tuesday evening. “Achieving this score in this competitive context, when we are not yet in the heart of the events, it’s pretty good”declares Agathe Lecaron in TV Star before adding, confident:“The show’s audience is much younger than the box average, and the women have followed us.”
RTL-TVI? Ses “years of the loose”
Before having a successful career in France, Agathe Lecaron cut her teeth in Belgium. First on NRJ, then on AB3 and finally on RTL-TVI. A period of which she does not keep only good memories. In an interview given to Figo, the host even goes so far as to define her career on RTL-TVI as her “years of the loose“. As she tells it in the French media, she felt invisible next to the former misses who still officiate on the private channel, these presenters “with huge tits, wraparound faces“, she says. “I was given nothing. As soon as I did a casting, I was told that I looked like a bitch. One day, a boss explained to me that I was not popular, that it would never work for me in Belgium.“
Fortunately, mayonnaise took better on the small French screen. On TF1 with Sacred eveningon M6 with Top Boss and especially on France Télévisions with The Kindergarten House or Well & Welltwo programs that she still presents today.
