The Pole dominated the American in straight sets to play his third career Masters 1000 final.
Hubert Hurkacz (17th in the world) qualified for the final of the Masters 1000 in Shanghai by dominating the American Sebastian Korda (26th) 6-3, 6-4 in the semi-final on Saturday.
The Pole will play his third Masters 1000 final on Sunday following Miami in 2021 (victory once morest Sinner) and Canada in 2022 (defeat once morest Carreno Busta). He will try to win the seventh title of his career.
He will face the winner of the second semi-final between Andrey Rublev (7th in the world) and Grigor Dimitrov (19th).
