Hubble breaks all records for the most distant star ever observed

The galaxy called Sunrise Arc, Sunrise arc in French, has its image heavily distorted by a gravitational lensing effect that stretches it into an arc where it appears three times in this photograph obtained from photons collected by the Hubble telescope.
