Huawei Mate XS 2 joins the list of folding devices manufactured by the Chinese company. The launch of the Huawei Mate X line began in June 2019, presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that year.
In February 2021, it presented the Mate X2, also belonging to the Mate family and with a book-type format that opens horizontally. For its part, Huawei presented the P50 Pocket at the end of last January.
In this case, the latest foldable launched on the market by Huawei adopts a different format from that of the members of the Mate series; with a clamshell hinge that opens vertically, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z flip3.
