Huawei wants to double smartphone sales and deliver approximately 70 million units in 2024. The information was revealed by a recent report, indicating that the company is preparing to meet high demand next year.

According to NikkeiAsian, Huawei executives are confident and believe that the company can easily reach 70 million, something that is higher than what the Chinese company sold in 2022 and 2023 combined.

To achieve this goal, the Chinese company has worked with several suppliers and stocked essential parts not only for high-end smartphones, but also for intermediate models.

The report also says that some of the parts stocked by Huawei include camera lenses, circuit boards, batteries and even chips from the Kirin 5G line.

After the United States sanctions, the company created this culture of making large stocks of parts and company executives believe that this is necessary to avoid production problems in 2024.

For now, Huawei has not confirmed the veracity of the report. Still, the company has been rushing to deliver new units of the Mate 60 line, as the devices have already sold out in physical stores and also on the official website.

Furthermore, with the Huawei Nova 12 line being planned to deliver 5G connection, everything indicates that the company has the potential to further expand sales volume before the end of the year.
