Huawei introduced that last July P50 and the P50 Pro and pushed the foldable one in December P50 Pocket following. All three models are currently only available in China. That changes next week for two phones – on January 12th the P50 Pro and the P50 Pocket will make their worldwide debut. The information comes from Huawei’s Malaysian subsidiary, which has posted some teasers for publication on its Twitter account.
Huawei P50 Pocket
Huawei Malaysia has listed both smartphones including their functions and technical data on its official website. The specifications largely correspond to those of their Chinese counterparts. The P50 Pro runs with one Snapdragon 888 instead of the in-house Kirin 9000 and the P50 Pocket, EMUI 12 boots instead of HarmonyOS.
Huawei P50 Pro
Huawei didn’t mention which operating system the P50 Pro will run with. The assumption is that it is also EMUI 12. Both smartphones will only be launched in one configuration, at least in Malaysia – 8/256 GB. The P50 Pocket Premium Edition is offered with 12/512 GB.
