In an announcement published this Friday, Huawei decided to present a new mid-range smartphone within the Nova family to the global public. We are talking regarding the Huawei Nova Y72.
In general terms, the device follows the same design language as the Enjoy 70 in the camera module, with the screen being a 6.75-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution.
As expected, Huawei does not reveal the name of the chipset, but Chinese retailers have listed the Nova Y72 with Kirin 710, which works in conjunction with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
At the rear, the Huawei Nova Y72 has a 50 MP main camera and the secondary sensor is a 2 MP macro. On the other hand, selfies are guaranteed by the 8 MP front lens.
The smartphone has a 4G connection, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi and is sold in black or green.
Completing the set is the 6,000 mAh battery, with support for 22.5W charging, and Android 13 as the operating system running underneath the EMUI interface.
Officially launched in South Africa, the new Huawei Nova Y72 can now be ordered for around 4,999 rands, around R$1,301 in direct conversion and without considering Brazilian taxes.
For now, there is no forecast for launch in other countries.
