Huawei launches smart watch with built-in headphones in the global market

O Huawei Watch Buds was finally released on the global market this Wednesday (15). For those who don’t know, it is a smart watch produced by the Chinese manufacturer that has as one of its main highlights the headphones integrated into the device. Its launch in China took place in December 2022.

Previous news already mentioned the possibility of launching the global version of the product. Now, people outside the Chinese market can already purchase the smartwatch and take advantage of this and other main features. In this sense, it is worth remembering that it also has the expected characteristics of a traditional item in this category.

In this case, the Huawei Watch Buds comes with a screen of the type AMOLED 1.43 inch 466 x 466 resolution and its construction is made of metal. However, there is no digital crown attached to its side, as in other watch models. The display also works as a cover, attached with magnets to the body of the product.

This mechanism reveals the space where the headphones are. According to the manufacturer, the components involved underwent several types of stress tests, one of them with a pressure of 5 kg. In addition, the company claims that it has tested the parts by opening and closing the device 100,000 times. The battery has a capacity of 410mAh.

Other attributes include 80 different sports, as well as 10 of them professional. It is compatible with both iOS and Android systems. The model will be available in Europe from the March 1st and can be purchased from the official Huawei store, as well as other authorized retailers.

In the United Kingdom, the value of the device is 449.99 pounds (BRL 2,821 in direct conversion). The value in euros has not yet been revealed.
