Rumors have spread that Chinese telecommunication equipment maker Huawei will release its sixth foldable smartphone ‘Mate X3’ at the end of this year.
According to the latest Chinese report, Tipster claims that Huawei plans to launch the next-generation Mate X3 foldable phone in December.
The next-generation Mate X3 is expected to be lighter and thinner, and screen wrinkling is also expected to improve with improved durability and a new hinge system.
In April, Huawei introduced the Mate Xs 2, the successor to the Mate Xs released in 2020. The ‘Mate Xs 2’ is an out-folding method, but the ‘Mate X3’ is said to inherit the in-folding method of the Mate X2.
Meanwhile, Tipster said the ‘Mate X3’ would be released at a lower price, but did not mention specific pricing information.
