HTC’s new tablet launched in Russia has been criticized for entry-level positioning price- Hong Kong unwire.hk

Many mobile phone brands began to leave the Russian market at the end of February this year due to protests once morest Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but HTC has gone the opposite way and will launch a new Android tablet HTC A101 locally. In terms of specifications and configuration alone, the HTC A101 is an entry-level position, but its pricing has been criticized for being in line with the mid-range tablets on the market.

Many foreign media have described the HTC A101 as lackluster. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch Full HD resolution LCD screen, and its wide-bezel design is said to be a product of 2017. It adopts China Unisoc Zhanrui Unisoc SCT618 processor, with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage (supports microSD expansion), the front camera lens is 5MP, and the back has 16MP and 2MP dual-lens cameras.

Other features include pre-loaded Android 11 system from two years ago, 3.5mm headphone jack, 7,000mAh battery, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac and 4G LTE connectivity. The price of the HTC A101 in Russia is 20,990 rubles (regarding 2,594 Hong Kong dollars). Some netizens bluntly said that the price is unreasonable. There are a large number of tablets to choose from. The manufacturer also plans to sell this tablet in African countries.
