Information released this week suggests that HTC is working on a new smartphone that could hit the shelves soon, at least that’s what recent leaks indicate. According to information, the Taiwanese manufacturer registered three variants of the same device with the Bluetooth SIG entity with model numbers 2QC9200, 2QC9100 and 2QCB100.

The listing confirms support for Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, but does not indicate the possible commercial name of the phone, keeping that detail under wraps. According to speculation, this mysterious device may come equipped with Qualcomm’s mid-range chipset instead of MediaTek.

The document points to compatibility with FastConnect 6700, technology present in the SoCs Snapdragon 778, Snapdragon 778+ and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, and it is possible that the smartphone uses one of these three components.

The report does not reveal more information about the device, but rumors point to 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage. There are no renderings about the possible design and construction of the mysterious cell phone, waiting for more leaks or official data shared by HTC.
