If you plan to go out to ‘play the role’ this Saturday, April 13, we advise you to first check if your car can circulate or if it will have to be ‘stored’ for the Saturday Not Circulating Today. If you live in Mexico City (CDMX) or in the State of Mexico (Edomex), we will tell you which cars rest this day.
It should be remembered that this program aims to reduce environmental pollution levels in the Valley of Mexico. For this reason, since 1989, restrictions on vehicles have been established during the week and on weekends, so that air quality can be maintained at good levels.
Today Not Circulating Saturday: What cars are not circulating this Saturday, April 13?
As it is the second Saturday of the month, Hoy No Circula will apply to vehicles with hologram 1 and license plates ending in an even number. Cars with Hologram 2 and foreign cars do not circulate either, regardless of the digit on their license plate.
These cars must refrain from traveling and not leave between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., otherwise they will be subject to a financial fine.
Remember that Hoy No Circula applies to the 16 municipalities of Mexico City, as well as 18 municipalities of the State of Mexico. The latter are:
- Atizapan of Zaragoza
- Coacalco de Berriozábal
- Cuautitlan
- Cuautitlán Izcalli
- Chalco

- Chimalhuacan
- Ecatepec de Morelos

According to the program, private vehicles with double hologram “00”, “0”, electric and hybrid can circulate every day, including Saturdays. Likewise, cars with disabled license plates, emergency or funeral service vehicles, and public transportation are exempt from the restrictions.
How much is the fine for not respecting Hoy No Circula?
