How will the characters of the second season of the series “Year of Culture” change?
Comedy hit TNT “Year of culturereturns with a second season three years after its release. The TV premiere will take place on March 21 at 21.00. We tell how the actors and their characters have changed during the absence of the series on the screens.
Sofia Belozisditch (Maria Akhmetzyanova)
In the first season, the heroine, who launches the main storyline, appears to the audience on the one hand as a timid and shy girl, on the other hand, as a fighter against the system, for which work comes first. In the second season, a love interest appears in Sonya’s life in the form of a new hero who reveals her from other sides.
“As for the female part of my heroine, she blossoms both externally and internally. She has a new man, thanks to whom she begins to feel needed, desired, happy, begins to smile more and, in fact, live,” says Maria Akhmetzyanova.
If we talk about the actress herself, then the “Year of Culture” was her first big comedy experience. Now, according to Maria, in such material she feels much more comfortable, and in general considers herself a universal actress.
Between the first and second seasons of the “Year of Culture” with the participation of the actress, such works as the mystical thriller “Running”, the historical detective story “Rostov”, the sports comedy “The Great Game”, the detective thriller “Survivors” were released. The actress is also working on a project where she will have to embody several “personalities” on the screen at once, enclosed in a semblance of artificial intelligence.
Victor Sychisin (FisDr. Bondarchuk)
It is generally accepted that the characters of the main characters of sitcoms rarely change, but the “Year of Culture” in the second season moves away from the grotesque genre. In this regard, the main character of the story, who, in fact, will have to enter the same river a second time, is somewhat transformed. Yes, the lion’s share of situational humor is still concentrated around Sychev, but he worked on the role Fedor Bondarchuk I tried to make my character not so “monochrome”.
«Of course, I want to make each character more difficult: both negative and positive. There are sincere manifestations of his feelings for the heroine Masha, and indeed for the world some kind of compassion, which is not characteristic of Sychev in general. Even to his beloved assistant Stasik, he shows some human emotions, let’s call it that. I would not want to make him a 100% tyrant and a one-color fool dance. And I hope that the audience will see it,” says Fyodor Bondarchuk.

Despite the fact that Bondarchuk periodically works in the comedy genre, the “Year of Culture” became a kind of test for the actor, because he did not always share his views on some situations with the authors. However, trusting a group of screenwriters and seeing the final result, I was convinced that the plan really works.
After the first season of the “Year of Culture”, the actor played the main role in the medical comedy melodrama “Filatov”, took part in the large-scale historical fantasy “Lenin. Inevitability”, appeared in the fantastic blockbuster “Sputnik”, starred in the quarantine sitcom “Cursed Days” and took part in the work on the documentary project “The Nineties”.
Stanislav Korolisin (Rinal Mukhametov)
Sychev’s faithful assistant named Stasik in the second season of the “Year of Culture” not only traditionally helps the boss in all matters, but also experiences his own drama. He has to suddenly plunge into family affairs, and also find an unexpected point of contact with Sychev, because the circumstances are such that both essentially find themselves in the same role.

“He finds himself in more domestic circumstances, he is lacking a whirlpool of family problems. Stas is having children, and these are not his own children. He, unfortunately, falls under the scam of his beloved, to whom, apparently, some kind of warm relationship still glimmers, ”says the performer of the role Rinal Mukhametov.
Rinal Mukhametov – a fan of clowning, and even dreamed of becoming a clown himself, so he especially appreciates Stasik’s crazy antics. After the release of the first season of the Year of Culture, the actor’s comedic talent was also noticed by the producers, who began to offer him roles in this genre. Mukhametov played in the comedies “Russian South” and “Secrets of Family Life”, but there were also enough dramatic works: the fantastic action movie “Invasion”, the adventure fantasy “Abigail” and the dance drama “Battle”.
Lev Filin (Alexander Lykov)
In the second season, the charismatic rector goes into a well-deserved retirement, thereby opening a new location in the form of a country house. But Filin is not ready to put up with a measured life in the wilderness: he is trying with all his might to return “to the game”, sometimes even going to deceive his own wife.

In fact, the same can be said about the actor Alexander Lykov, with the only difference that no one sent him to retirement and he does not have to deceive. However, the demand for an artist in films and TV shows is an indisputable fact.
Between two seasons of the “Year of Culture”, he managed to take part in such projects as the historical drama “Devyatayev”, the comedies “Family Budget” and “Seven Dinners”, the family drama “Winter Season”, the military series “Bomb”, the comedy almanac “ Unprincipled”, as well as the sports dramedy “Difficult teenagers”.
Who elseis?
If we talk about the actors, whose employment has grown significantly after the release of the first season, then Anton Filipenko and Alexei Rozin can be attributed to them. Filipenko played the main roles in the rom-com “Let’s Get Divorced” and the TV series “Project” Anna Nikolaevna”, together with Lykov starred in “Family Budget” and “Unprincipled”, appeared in Danila Kozlovsky’s blockbuster “Chernobyl”, as well as the crime detective “Whirlpool”.

Rozin starred in the TV series Territory, Soldout and Alice’s Dreams, worked in the fantasy thriller Survivors, the stand-up project I’m Not Kidding, the dramedy Kidney and the historical drama Heart of Parma. Now another large-scale project with his participation is being prepared for release on the screen: a film adaptation of the novel The Master and Margarita called Woland, where Alexei Rozin plays the role of Azazello.
By the second season, the already star cast of the “Year of Culture” has become even more powerful, especially considering the replenishment in the person of Pyotr Fedorov, who played one of the central roles in the continuation of the story.
