How to use quick actions in Spotlight [iPhone e iPad]

O Spotlight It is already an old acquaintance of Mac, iPhone and iPad users. In the case of Apple’s smartphone, for example, it has been available since iPhone OS 3 (yes, it wasn’t even called iOS yet).

Over the years, Apple has been improving this function. In the case of iOS/iPadOS 17, for example, it got even smarter. From these versions onwards, you can perform actions within applications without even having to open them — all directly through the search.

Check out how to make the most of this on your iPhone or iPad below! ????

Alarms: type “Alarm” in the search bar to see options.
Calendar: Enter a day of the week for the option to create a new event to appear.
Recorder: type “Recorder” to display the options to record audio or play the last recording made.
Camera: Type “Camera” to open modes such as “Photo”, “Selfie” or “Video”.
Sticky notes: Use “Reminders” to see what you added there today, scheduled or all.
Tempo: Use to see current conditions in your area.
Music: Enter the name of a song or artist to show Apple Music playback control.
Files: Use to view the most recent stored documents.
If so: Enter the name of a stock to see how it is currently performing.
Contacts: Type a person’s name in your address book to get shortcuts to make a video call, audio call, or send a message.

There are also several other cool examples of things you can do directly through search on your iPhone or iPad, but these are the main ones.

Pretty cool, right?! ????
