How to use Galaxy Buds2 Pro to record videos with 360 Audio

Now available in Brazil, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro wireless headphones’ new 360 Audio Recording feature unlocks a world of possibilities for content creation

360 Audio is one of the core technologies of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro. It is thanks to this feature that you have the immersive feeling of being in the center of the action, as the sound travels from all directions around you. And Samsung’s most advanced wireless headset is even better, as the new 360 Audio Recording feature is now available in Brazil1.

The novelty is part of an automatic update of the Buds2 Pro and is compatible with folding models Galaxy Z Flip4 5G2 e Galaxy Z Fold4 5G2. In addition, the feature has gained dedicated settings to facilitate the capture of ultra-high definition Hi-Fi audio.3 during your recordings.

The Galaxy Buds2 Pro’s new 360 Audio Recording feature combines the Direct Multi-channel surround sound system and the microphones built into each earbud to make your recordings even richer in detail. In this way, whoever watches it has the feeling of being at the center of the action of the recorded content, be it a concert, a song, a debate circle, among others.

The level of realism and immersion is impressive and is made possible by LE Audio technology, a new advanced Bluetooth audio standard that brings better sound quality, better latency and longer battery life. And now with the update, LE Audio brings bi-neural recording to the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, using the left and right microphones at the same time to ensure the highest quality stereo audio and video.

How to record 360 Audio with Galaxy Buds2 Pro

  1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app and tap the paired Galaxy Buds2 Pro icon on your Galaxy smartphone;
  2. Enable the “360 Audio” switch to enable the 360 ​​Audio and Head Tracking features4;
  3. Now, open the smartphone camera and switch to the “Video” option;
  4. Tap “Settings” (gear icon) in the upper left corner of the screen;
  5. Enter the “Advanced Video Options” option;
  6. Tap the “360 Audio Recording” switch to activate the function.

Once the 360 ​​Audio feature is activated, every time you record a new video, the camera will show the small notice “360 MIC” in the upper right corner of the screen to inform you that the audio recording will be done in 360° by the microphones on the Buds2 Pro.
