Similar to the new Bing, you can type a question to get information on a specific topic.

Necessary time: 3 minutes

To use Copilot on Windows 11, you must have build 22621.2361 or later installed. After installing the optional update KB5030310 or the Windows 11 October 2023 Update, follow the steps below:

Press the “Widows + C” keys or click the Copilot button on the taskbar.

The Copilot window will appear in the form of a column on the right side of the screen. Note that it will not overlay the contents of the desktop nor will it block open application windows.

In the Copilot text box, write a question or command, such as:

– “Switch to dark mode”
– “Activate do not disturb mode”
– “Take a screenshot”
– “Write a story regarding a dog that lives on the moon.”
– “Summarize this site” (this will work for the tab currently in use in Microsoft Edge)
