“My app is buggy, do you have any idea what could be causing this?” I couldn’t tell you the number of times I get asked this question every day on my Facebook page.
In a large majority of cases, my first instinct is to ask the person if this application needs to be updated via the Play Store or the App Store.
Without saying that it fixes all the problems, in many cases, that’s all the app needs to work again.
There is rarely a day that goes by without an update being offered for one application or another.
It’s not always to repair critical flaws, precisely, often, it’s simply to fix a few small bugs, speed problems, crashes, etc.
Moreover, even if we checked for our applications to update automatically, we have nothing to lose by going to check if some are pending.
Most of the time there will be a few that need to be downloaded. We show you how to go check it all out on the Play Store for Android, and on the App Store for iOS.

To check and install pending updates on an Android tablet or phone, it is necessary:
- Open the Play Store and click on our profile icon at the top right.
- Click on Manage apps and device.
- Sous Suggested updateschoose Update all Or on Show the details and on To update to do it to a specific app.

To check and install pending updates on an iPhone or iPad, you need to:
- Open the App Store and click on our profile icon at the top right.
- Scroll down to view pending updates and release notes.
- Select option Update all or click on To update next to a specific app.
