As such, several degrees of burns are listed according to their severity. We speak of a first degree burn when the affected tissues are red, dry and sometimes painful, but without blisters. How to heal a burn quickly?
Whatever the degree of a burn, it is important to act quickly to prevent it from getting worse. In first and second degree burns, certain creams can be applied to relieve lesions and promote wound healing. This is the case of thermal burns caused when the skin comes into contact with flames or any other liquid and burning element. In this specific case, it is important to cool the affected area under cold water for about fifteen minutes. Then, disinfect the burned area with a sterile compress. Finally, it is strongly recommended to apply a healing and soothing cream to calm the redness. Products like petroleum jelly or liquid paraffin can be applied. These creams will participate in the renewal of skin cells.

Other burn treatments
Also in the case of light burns (first and second degree) and to accelerate healing, it should be noted that other treatments may be considered. So, hydrogel and/or hydrocolloid dressings can be applied. Not only does their action activate the healing of the lesion, but it also protects it from external infectious agents, thanks to the formation of a protective layer on the surface of the wound.. Finally, in the case of serious burns, or third degree, do not apply any treatment. An emergency medical consultation with health professionals is necessary.
What to do to make burn scars disappear?
Some wounds take longer to heal. And, when they do manage to heal, the scar may take even longer to fade on its own. For others, it never heals. This is usually a wound caused by a blade that has deeply damaged the skin. However, in the case of certain burns (first degree burn or superficial burn, it lasts 2 to 4 days maximum), healing is generally spontaneous and leaves no sequelae. Normally, after about ten days, the scar can disappear naturally without any application.. However, when the burn is deep, its healing may take longer and it may last more than thirty days before this scarring disappears.
