The actor’s wife, who in 2022 had announced that she was suffering from a degenerative disease pushing him to interrupt his career, notably gave advice on how to successfully hold on in such a situation, reports Le Huffington Post .
An incurable form of dementia
Bruce Willis has an incurable form of dementia. A disease that is manifested by memory problems, behavioral changes but also difficulties in moving and expressing oneself. Similar to Alzheimer’s disease, this degeneration inevitably impacts the relatives of the sick person.
Faced with this ordeal, the actor’s entire family rallied together to help him. But everyday life is not always easy to live with. “I know I look like I’m out there, living my best life. I have to make a conscious effort every day to live the best life possible”explains Emma Hemming in her video.

Like many caregivers, the actor’s wife does her best to support her husband. “I must move forward, for my own good and that of my family”, she confided to her approximately 861,000 subscribers. She also adds that caregivers must not let themselves go when faced with the illness of their loved one: “If we don’t take care of ourselves, we can’t take care of those we love”she believes.

The young woman had even described herself as “ridden with sadness” since the announcement of the pathology of the actor.
