We recently reported that WhatsApp has finally implemented a feature that allows you to silence calls from unknown numbers — so you won’t be disturbed if a telemarketing number tries to contact you, for example.
It turns out that the function with the same objective is also available natively in the app Telephone (Phone) of the iPhone a few years ago.
See how very simple it is to activate it! ????
Open Settings, tap “Phone” and scroll to “Silence Unknown”. Finally, check the “Silence Unknown” option.
According to Apple, all these calls will then be silenced, sent to the voicemail and displayed in the “Recents” tab of the Phone app.
Numbers that aren’t muted include those in your address book, numbers you’ve called recently, and Siri Suggestions.
