How to share your screen on video calls on iPhone

Start by starting a video call normally within the app. To do this, open the messaging area, tap on the conversation with the person or start a new one. Then, select the video camera icon to start the call.

While on the video call, tap the third icon from the bottom, “Screen sharing” and “Start broadcast”. Tap the downward-facing arrow to show the video connection in a small frame.

Remember that notifications that reach your iPhone can be seen by other participants in the call. To avoid this, turn on Do Not Disturb before you start sharing.

To stop sharing, choose “Stop Sharing”.

How to share your screen on web video calls

Start the call normally on the Instagram website. Then, click on the screen sharing icon at the bottom and choose what you want to share.

To end this, click “Stop Sharing”.
