How to set up an elevation alert in the Compass app on Apple Watch

Apple completely remodeled the app Compass (Compass) on watchOS 9, taking advantage of the launch of the first generation of Apple Watch Ultra in 2022.

With the release of watchOS 10it started to offer another new feature for him: the possibility of setting a security alert elevation target during a route.

On your Apple Watch, open the Compass app. Then, go to the “i” (in the top left corner) and “Configure Elevation Alert” (in the “Elevation” section). Use the Digital Crown to choose the elevation target. When you’re satisfied, tap the green tick icon in the top right corner.

To change it, go back to the “i” button and select “Objective Alert” or, to clear it, choose “Clear Objective”.
