One of the ways to communicate on Instagram It is through direct messages, that is, those that are sent privately to you. Normally, when someone doesn’t follow you and sends you a message, it is automatically forwarded to an area called “Requests”.
We’ve already shown here how you can disable this type of message, but if you left it enabled, we’ll show you how you can see and manage this space.
Let’s go?! ????
To find these messages, open Instagram, tap the messages area (in the top right corner) of the home page, or simply swipe from right to left. If you are accessing the web, click on the “Messages” tab.
Then, access the “Requests” tab. If there is any message like that, it will appear there. To delete them all at once, select “Delete all” or tap on one of them to choose what to do: “Block”, “Delete” or “Accept”.
In the latter case, you can choose whether to move it to the “Main” or “General” area using the buttons below or by sliding your finger from right to left on the conversation preview. From there, it will be possible to respond to the person.
By going to “Hidden requests”, you can check messages that may contain offensive or unwanted content, that may contain spam or that are hidden based on the social network’s hidden word settings.
