To resolve issues that may occur on your devices, Apple allows you to quickly use the reset tools present in device settings. You can, for example, do this for the Home screen layout, keyboard dictionary, and location/privacy.
In addition, you can also do this procedure for so-called Network Settings. This can be used in case you are experiencing any problems connecting to Wi-Fi or cellular networks, for example.
See how to do it! ????
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap “General” and go to Transfer or Reset iPhone [iPad] » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
E no Mac, Apple TV e Apple Watch?
Unlike iOS and iPadOS, in the operating systems that equip the Mac, Apple TV and Apple Watch, you will need to carry out other processes.
Not macOS: Open System Settings, click on “Network” and then “Details…” below the Wi-Fi network. Finally, select “Forget this Network…”. You can also do this by turning off Wi-Fi, opening Finder and going to Ir » Ir para Pasta… » /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ and press return. Then delete the files. Go back to System Settings, click on “Bluetooth”, on the “i” next to the device name and on “Forget This Device…”. Also remove VPN networks and profiles in macOS System Settings.
No watchOS: the reset happens automatically, if you do it on the iPhone (since both devices are linked). If that doesn’t work, you can choose the option to forget a Bluetooth device by going to Ajustes » Bluetoothtapping the “i” next to the accessory and selecting “Forget Device”.
Not tvOS: Open Settings, go to “Network” and “Wi-Fi”. Select the connected network and choose “Forget Network”. Go back to the settings home screen, go to “Remotes and Devices” and “Bluetooth”. Choose the device in the “Devices” and “Forget This Device” section.
