Since iOS/iPadOS 16.2 and macOS Ventura 13.1, Apple has made the app available Freeform. In short, it allows you to collaborate with several other users in a kind of whiteboard — images, videos, graphics, texts, among others can be included.
As of iOS/iPadOS 16.4 and macOS Ventura 13.3, Apple is now allowing you to do something extra there: removing the background of an image included in a Freeform frame.
Check out how to do it below! ????
First of all, it is good to be clear that the removal of the background may not be successful, depending on the chosen image.
How to remove background from an image in Freeform for iPhone/iPad
Open a frame inside Freeform and add an image as usual to it. Tap on top of it to open its specific adjustments, select the first icon (from left to right) and go to “Remove Background”.
How to remove background from an image in Freeform for Mac
Open a board in Freeform and add the image. Then click on it so that the options appear below, select the first icon from left to right and go to “Remove Background”.
If you prefer, this can also be done by selecting the image and then going to Format » Image » Remove Backgroundin the menu bar.
