How to Put a Voice Recording in an iWork Document from iPhone/iPad
Open the document in one of the three applications, tap the “+” button (at the top of the screen) and select “Record Audio” in the last tab from left to right. Go to “Record” and give permission for the app to have access to the microphone, if you haven’t already done so before.
When you want to stop, select “Stop”; in “Play”, you can check how the recording turned out; under “Edit”, you can use the built-in audio editing tools, such as cropping. When you are satisfied with the result, go to “Insert”. Then position the recording button where you think it’s best.
How to Put a Voice Recording in an iWork Document on Mac
With the document open, click Media » Record Audioin the toolbar (at the top), or go to Insert » Record Audioin the menu bar.
Select the red ball in the window that will open to start recording the audio. To stop, click on the square. Once this is done, listen to the result by going to “Play”, edit it in “Edit” or insert it into the file by clicking on “Insert”.
Then, in the right sidebar, you can still adjust other things — among them, the repetition, the audio volume and organize it.
