How to put an emoji in the iPhone status bar

Apple offers several ways to customize your iPhone to suit your needs. In recent years, for example, it has started to allow us to change various elements of the locked screen, such as the fonts used on the clock, for example.

To make iOS even more yours, a very simple trick allows you to put an emoji in the iPhone status bar (more precisely, in the upper left part of the screen).

To do this, all you have to do is create and activate a Focus. This feature, it’s worth noting, was introduced by Apple with iOS 15. To get started, open Settings on your iPhone and tap “Focus”. Then, go to “+” (in the top right corner) and choose “Custom”.

Give the hover a name, choose a color, and most importantly here, see which emoji you want to appear at the top of the screen. Once done, select “Next” and go to “Customize Focus”.

After that, it will be properly created. To activate it in practice, open the Control Center, keep your finger pressed on “Focus” and choose the name of the one you created.

Ready! ???? After that, the emoji will appear at the top of the screen. Note that, in certain cases, it may not appear — such as when using apps that ask for your location (as a result, the map icon will appear there).
