The Meteorological Authority issued important and urgent advice to citizens, in order to confront the severe heat wave that the country is witnessing and will continue until next week, and will reach its climax next Saturday.
The Meteorological Department’s advice to citizens was as follows:
1- Increase fluid intake.
2- Wear loose-fitting, cotton clothes.
3- Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
4- Avoid direct exposure to the sun, especially in the rush hour from 12 noon until 3 pm.
5- Follow up on the daily weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Authority.
6- Wear a head covering.
The Meteorological Authority stated that today, there will be wind activity, sometimes in the evening, in separate areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, which will be exciting for sand and dust.
As for the temperatures today, Saturday: Great Cairo 43 degrees and low 24, Great Alexandria 36 and low 22, Great Matrouh 31 degrees and low 22, Great Sohag 43 degrees and low 27, Great Qena 43 degrees and low 27, Great Aswan 45 degrees and Low 28.
