Diablo IVone of the game industry’s biggest releases of 2023, is approaching its trial period, when players will finally have the chance to check out the new action RPG developed by Blizzard. With two beta tests conducted in Marchbeing one closed and the other open, the game will give a taste of what is to come in June, the month in which the official launch of the title will take place.
With the two beta periods being available for three days, it will be possible to check out the beginning of the game’s story, unlike other tests in which Blizzard has made access to the endgame of the action RPG available.
On which platforms the trial period will be available
Both closed and open beta will be available for all platforms on which the game will be released, namely PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series e PC.
Open and closed beta dates
The closed beta, called early access, will start on March 17th and end on the 19th of the same month. The open beta, available to all players, will last from March 24th to March 26th.
How to play the closed beta
The closed beta (early access) will be available to all players who have already taken the pre-order any edition of Diablo IV. Just buy an edition of the title and you’ll be able to check it out on March 17th.
Open beta content and early access
In the closed beta, players will only have three classes to choose from, which are Forsaken, Mage and Barbarian. Already in the open beta, Necromancer and Druid will also be available, thus completing all five classes in the game.
With the trial period allowing players to check out the Prologue and Act 1, it will be possible to create up to 10 different characters in the adventure. Players will be able to take Strongholds overrun by evil forces, turning them into villages, event locations, and more. As you explore the Sanctuary’s dangers, you’ll also be able to face a Boss of the gigantic world which will offer the rewards below.
- Initial Victim Title: Received upon reaching Kyovashad with any character
- Early Traveler Title: Received upon reaching level 20 with any character
- Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item: Received upon reaching level 20 with any character
Furthermore, Wolf Pack items and other rewards will be offered to anyone who checks out both beta periods and accomplishes the required goals.
Beta progress will not carry over
During early access and open beta it will be possible to reach level 25 with your characters, however it is good to remember that the progress will not be carried over to the final version of the game. Although characters are retained from early access to open beta, all will be deleted when the second trial period ends.
Diablo IV will be released on the day June 6, 2023 para PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series e PC.
