One of the main new features coming with iOS/iPadOS 14 and macOS Big Sur for the native app Messages (Messages) was the ability to pin a conversation to the top — ideal for anyone who wants to access a chat even more quickly.

It turns out that you can also pin an individual message within a chat — as long as it’s a sent or received link. Thus, it is even simpler to check a web page or a link to a music stream, for example.

See how to do it! ????

Open the Messages app and select the desired conversation. Then find the desired link, press and hold your finger on it for a few seconds and tap “Pin”.

Later, you can check out all the pinned links in a conversation by tapping on the person’s name/picture (at the top). There, you will notice that a new “Pinned Messages” area will appear.

On macOS, the process is very similar. After finding the desired link, click with two fingers on the trackpad or use the right mouse button on it and select “Pin”.

Then, select the “i” at the top to see the contact’s information — pinned links among them.

Simple, isn’t it?! ????
