How to Mute a Conversation on iPhone/iPad
Open Mail and select the desired conversation. Then, tap the button represented by a little arrow facing left (on the iPhone, it is at the bottom of the screen) and “Mute”.
If you prefer, you can also use the swipe gesture over the message (going from right to left), tapping the three dots and “Silence”.
If you want, you can still choose what should be done with the muted conversation. To do this, open Settings and go to Mail » Muted Conversation. Finally, select “Mark as Read” or “Archive or Delete”.
