A Siri there were few new features in iOS/iPadOS 17. One of them was the possibility of calling the assistant just by saying “Siri” — as long as you are using it in English.
Another new feature that recently arrived is that you can now ask her to read a web article to you. This function can be activated in a very simple way, as we will show below!
On iPhone/iPad, open the desired article in Safari. Then, tap “Aa” (on the left of the address bar) and go to “Listen to the Page”. To control things like speaking speed or rewind/forward, tap “Aa” again.
Apple also indicates that this can be activated by simply telling Siri to read the text to you. In our tests, however, this did not work with the assistant configured for Brazilian Portuguese.
