Whatever the model or specification of your Mac, there are some tips that can make it turn on even faster and help you save a few good seconds during your routine.

- Review which applications are in the “Startup Items” section, that is, those that open automatically when you log into the machine. To do this, open System Settings, click on “General” and then “Startup Items”.
- Reset NVRAM and PRAM on Mac.
- If you are going to shut down your computer, try to keep the “Reopen windows when I log in once more” option disabled.
- Check how the machine’s internal storage is doing and clean it to delete unnecessary files.
- Disconnect any accessories that are plugged into the Mac’s ports, such as an external HDD/SSD or wired mouse/keyboard.
