*For the cake filling:

– 500g ground pork

– 1 teaspoon five spices

– 1 tablespoon sugar

– 3 teaspoons ground black pepper

– 2 teaspoons ground white pepper

– 1 tablespoon sesame oil

– 4 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1/2 cup of water

– 2 bunches of scallions, washed and chopped

2. Steps to make Taiwanese style peppercorn cake

Step 1: Mix pepper cake powder

First, put all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons dry yeast and 2 teaspoons sugar, and 2.5 cups of filtered water into a large bowl and mix well. Mix this mixture well until a smooth dough is formed.

You can increase or decrease the amount of water so that the dough is smooth and does not stick to your hands. Then set the dough aside until you’re ready to make the filling.

Step 2: Make the pepper cake

Take another large bowl and add all the filling ingredients mentioned in the ingredients section, except the green onions. Add water to the filling, 1 tablespoon at a time until the water is completely absorbed into the filling mixture.
