After meeting Sorush and Zurvan, you will receive a quest called “Pure Awakening Sound”. To complete it, you’ll need to find three Kory drums, as we teach you in our tutorial, and five drum sheet music. Later on, these scores will be used to play the drums and following doing that, a Pari named Rashnu will appear.
When Mihir and Rashnu are available, return to Zurvan, where Sorush will display her Twin-Horned Chaplet. While this doesn’t change Sorush’s appearance, it will allow Pari to do larger tasks, such as collecting the Great Songs of Khvarena.
You’ll probably find the task of salting Mihir easy, but waking up Rashnu will require some patience, as the Kory drums are scattered in hard-to-reach places and you’ll need to solve some puzzles to get them. Out of all the kory drums, the Pyro drum needs players to light all the glowing flame alters.
Genshin Impact: How to Illuminate All Bright Flame Altars
To light all Bright Flame Altars in Genshin Impact, you must approach all seven torches before the flame goes out. The dumbbells are marked in the image below, just follow the wheel on the right to complete the task more smoothly.
To light the torch, you just need to approach it. It is not necessary to switch to a Pyro character in this case.
When all seven Bright Flame Altars are lit, the seal on the Kory Drum will be removed and the player will be able to obtain it.
If you’re confused regarding how to get to the kory drum to the west, you can use the western Teleport Point and then head north. Then head down and continue west to the challenge location.
About the quest “Pure Awakening Sound”
Quest “Pure Sound of Awakening” is unlocked along with Asipattravana Itihasa. Sorush must speak with Zurvan at the end of the quest “That Day of Bright Sky”. The quest “Pure Sound of Awakening” is longer than Asipattravana Itihasa as you will have to walk back and forth to get drums, play them and get scores.
When collecting the drums, the player will receive a hint on how to play the drum sheet music. One note says that notations are divided into three types: empty, half-full, and full. Empty means jump/wait, half full is a light tap and full is a hard tap. It is still said that notes can be read from left to right, top to bottom, like normal text.
