Although the announcement of Windows 11For the first time in June, it is available for download. There are currently a handful of new devices pre-installed with the operating system, and there will be more soon.
Users can download Windows 11 now, if they have a Windows 10 device and the installation assistant makes it easy to get started.
Users will also find the official ISO file online.
And the fastest and most convenient way is to copy it to a USB drive or other flash drive and install it on as many compatible devices that users want.
Despite the official support from Microsoft, the procedure is still very difficult. Make sure you have enough space before you start, double check that you won’t run out of space at any time.
Since the Windows 11 ISO file size is 5.1 GB, you will need enough space on the computer where it is downloaded, as well as any flash drives you are using and the target devices.
If this proves to be difficult, freeing up space in Windows 10 may come in handy. It’s a good idea to back up any files you won’t need right away and then perform a factory reset.
You can then choose what you want when you get back to your computer.
Download the ISO File Previously, logging into a Microsoft account and subscribing to the Windows Insider Program were required steps in the download procedure.
Step 1: Go to the official download site for Windows 11.
Step 2: Click Download Now under Create Windows 11 installation media.
Step 3: Media Creation Tool will start downloading at this moment. Double click to run when done.
Step 4: To download the ISO file follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure to select this option if you need to keep any of your existing files or data. Once installed, Windows 11 will work as if the device had just been jailbroken.
However, installing it using a USB drive is more difficult.
Transfer to a USB drive The ISO file will display in File Explorer (or Finder on a Mac) like any other download. Simply connect a USB flash drive or other flash drive to your computer and transfer the file as usual. This will take a minute or two to complete.
Start Windows 11 from a USB Drive If you want to use a USB drive to boot Windows 11 once it’s plugged in, you’ll need to make it bootable.
Microsoft recommended Rufus for this.
Step 1: Download and install the latest version of Rufus on the device that also has Windows 11.
Step 2: Plug in the USB drive on which the ISO file will be installed.
Make sure it has at least 8GB of free space and all other files have been deleted.
Step 3: From the main Rufus window go to “Device” and choose the desired USB.
Step 4: Under File System select NTFS and under Partition Scheme choose MBR.
Step 5: Click Select to the right of Select Boot, and select the ISO file.
Step 6: To start the procedure, click “Start”; The time it takes depends on the speed of the USB drive.
After you are done, you will have a USB drive that you can use to install Windows 11 on any compatible device.
Step 1: Insert the USB stick into the device you wish to use.
Step 2: Turn on the device once more.
Step 3: Press and hold the F8 key before the Windows logo appears to enter Safe Mode.
Step 4: Select “Use a device” and USB stick from the drop-down menu. The Windows 11 ISO file you downloaded should now be running on your computer. If not, you may need to disable secure boot in BIOS.
