If you have a profile picture on WhatsApp, you may want to prevent people from being able to associate your picture with your phone number.
It is possible on WhatsApp to limit the number of people who can see your profile photo. To do this, nothing might be simpler, but as is often the case, the process changes slightly if you use Android or iOS.
For iPhone owners, in fact, you will need to go to the settings, at the bottom right. For those who have an Android, it is at the top right, on the three small dots, that you will need to press before selecting the settings tab.
From there, however, the process is the same: choose the “privacy” option. If this is not apparent, click on the “account” menu where you should find this option.
Here you have the option to change the number of people who can see your profile picture or your online presence. A good way to do this is to select “my contacts”, but perhaps you want to exclude some of your contacts, in which case you can choose “my contacts except…”.
