LMushrooms can do a lot of good for your health, but they can be one of our worst enemies. It is recommended not to consume more than 200 g per adult per week! They have the reputation of being rich in protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals… It’s true. For 100 g, they provide, for example, as much potassium as a banana, or 10% of the recommended daily intake. This can help to have a favorable effect on blood pressure.
As they are rich in fiber and in various compounds with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant actions, mushrooms are in theory excellent candidates for preventing cardiovascular diseases and cancers… With, what is more, a favorable effect on weight, since they turn out to be very low in calories.
