Hogwarts Legacy: How to Get and Breed a Phoenix
Get the Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy: Of all the beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, the phoenix is by far the rarest. The house elf Deek plays a crucial role in procuring a phoenix. In Hogwarts Legacy, you must already have unlocked the Room of Requirement in order to capture magical beasts.
In order to get a phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy, you must first have completed the quests “The Elf”, “The Grabbag” and “The Loom”. The latter quest can only be obtained after you have completed the beast class. Deek’s final quest will lead you to your phoenix. In the quest “Phoenix Resurrection” you have to make your way to Phoenix Mountain in Hogwarts Legacy. Follow the steps below to get your phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy.
- Complete “Phoenix Resurrection” quest and get Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy:
- Travel to the cave location on the map (south of Hogwarts on the world map, west of Floo Powder Point Coastal Mine)
- Fly to the Phoenix Mountain Cave and unlock the flea waypoint there. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see the danger signs outside the cave.
- Enter the cave and destroy the blockage in front of you with a damaging spell.
- Follow the cave around and defeat the group of poachers.
- Continue around the cave and enter the area with machine parts.
- Defeat the poachers here before continuing through the entrance to the vault.
- In a short cutscene, a phoenix will fly towards you, you will be instructed to follow it as it keeps flying
- Keep going to the right and climb up the wooden structures.
- Go through the locked gate (this requires Alohomora level three) to get some loot.
- Exit the room and go left. Head into the next room where you can get a glimpse of the phoenix again.
- Continue up the path and climb the ladder past the spider warning sign.
- Continue up the linear path and defeat the spiders.
- Go to the central room and defeat the group of poachers.
- Destroy the stone wall to the right of the lantern to advance (use Revelio if you’re having trouble spotting it).
- Continue until you exit the cave to the top of the mountain.
- The phoenix will be on a big boulder in the middle.
- Equip your snap sack and catch the phoenix.
- Now go back to the Room of Requirement to complete the quest at Deek.
- You now own a phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy.
