In a message published on Reddit, a player addresses the problem of sets ofAberrus. It is true that some users have not yet completed their set and they are sometimes missing a single item to have all the pieces.

As of 11/29/2023, the only way to get an Aberrus Normal or higher transmo is to do Aberrus. You CANNOT catalyze Aberrus Normal appearances using any of the equipment you can currently purchase.
I tested this using the Dream Rush Token gear (purchased in Hamuul, adventurer gear), the Dream Rush dust gear (explorer gear), and the Time Rift gear. I bought the Hamuul gear, catalyzed it and upgraded it to 8/8 (8/8 adventurer, ilvl 450) and it gave my LFR appearance. I bought the leggings you can buy with dream dust, catalyzed them and upgraded them (explorer 8/8, ilvl 437). I then used the leggings that I bought with the weekly token from a time rift and catalyzed them (adventurer 8/8 ilvl 450) and they also gave me an LFR appearance.
I’ve seen a few posts saying that some people submitted a ticket and received a response from Blizzard saying it was a bug. I’ve seen people claim that this is the case, but they haven’t provided any actual proof like a screenshot or something from Blizzard. Currently, the only way to obtain the Normal, Heroic, or Mythic Aberrus skins is to participate in the raid.
I hope this helps anyone like me who was frustrated/confused regarding the Aberrus Normal, Heroic, and Mythic skins and whether or not they are available in the Catalyst. For the moment, this is not the case. Good luck and happy hunting!
