La Real ID y la Green Card

All these measures were taken following the attacks on the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001, which devastated the nation.

The Real ID identification must be processed at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) offices of the state in which the applicant lives.

Immigrants with permanent residence or a Green Card must present this identification to verify their immigration status.

Which makes it clear that they must apply for Real this 2024, before May 2025 to maintain their immigration status.
