And while for one of Apple’s most anticipated events every year, its famous Worldwide Developers Conference.
Next Monday, June 5thApple will open the WWDC23 with a keynote in which she will introduce us to iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14, watchOS 10 and tvOS 10 — as well as possible new Macs and, most likely, her long-awaited augmented/virtual reality headset alongside the new “xrOS” system.
The keynote — which might be pre-recorded at Apple Park or, who knows, take place (in parts?) live, since face-to-face invitations were issued to some journalists — will begin promptly at 10 am local time in Cupertino, which equals to 2pm in Brasilia or at 6 pm in Lisbon.
Find out below how to follow the event closely.
apple streaming
Obviously, we will have a keynote transmission via streaming video.
It can be followed either through the company’s website (requires an iPhone 7, fifth-generation iPad, or seventh-generation iPod touch running Safari on iOS 12 or higher; a Mac running Safari on macOS Mojave 10.14 or higher; or a PC running Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge ), a second-generation (or higher) Apple TV with the latest version of the operating system, as well as a smart TV with AirPlay 2 support.
Again, Apple will also do stream via YouTube:
Alternatively, anyone who wants to can download and follow the unofficial app Apple Events for macOS — developed by Brazilian Guilherme Rambo — and follow the broadcast by him, too.
Once once more, we will be covering the keynote live on YouTube. Follow this broadcast with Rafael Fischman e Breno Masistarting around 1:45 pm (Brasília time).
The idea here is to complement Apple’s official streaming, with real-time translation and some live commentary — as well as interacting with all the people who are watching on YouTube.
A special tab for MM Live (with the video) will also appear in our app, a little before and even a little following the event.
Twitter/Mastodon
For those who cannot follow everything in detail during the keynote, we will publish no Twitter e no Mastodon (yes, for the first time there too!) the main highlights of whatever is being announced by Apple.
we don’t want to flood timelines strangers for nothing, so the idea is just to post a few main tweets/toots during the entire event.
complete articles
Of course, while all of the above happens in real-time during Apple’s presentation, we’ll have a team hard at work on full, in-depth articles on everything announced and what else happens on the day here for the site.
Although the keynote itself lasts around 2 hours, our coverage usually extends well into the night — depending on the volume of news, of course.
Podcast
We will record the edit #531 do MacMagazine no Ar on thursday, day June 8th, starting at 6 pm (Brasília time). Most likely, the complete trio will participate — Rafael Fischman, edward marques e Breno Masi — with special guest William Rambo.
You will be able to follow the recording live on YouTube, or wait for the edited version that will be released until Friday night (6/9).
Wallet ticket
As is also tradition, we created a ticket that you can place in the app Portfolio (Wallet) of the iPhone in order to be informed shortly before the special event starts.
Add it by clicking/tapping below:
