One of the visual novelties of macOS Sonoma 14 is the possibility of including widgets on your desktop (Desktop or Table, in Mac language). This way, you can check the most important information for you in an even simpler way.
To make things even better, there is a new way to view the Table: just click on the area with the background image. Although this may seem like a good idea to many people, for others it may become irrelevant or even a nuisance — following all, it is a very different behavior from what we had before the arrival of the new system.
Fortunately, there is a simple way to disable this, as we will show you below! ????????
On your Mac, open System Settings and click “Desk & Dock” in the left sidebar. Then click the drop-down menu next to “Click background image to reveal table” and select “Visual Organizer only.”
Therefore, this trick of showing your Table will only work if you use the Visual Organizer feature (Stage Manager), introduced in macOS Ventura 13.
How do you prefer to use it there? ????
