WhatsApp developers want to make it easier to create stickers for the messenger. In one of the versions of WhatsApp, a function was discovered to create a sticker from a photo directly in the chat, reports

According to the source, a sticker editor was discovered in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android under number 2.24.6.5, which allows you to convert any image into a sticker when you open it. To do this, just open a photo, click the “Options” button, which looks like three vertical dots, and then select the “Create sticker” section from the pop-up menu. The user will be prompted to immediately save the sticker or edit it, after which they can send it in any chat.
This approach will greatly simplify and speed up the creation of stickers, according to WABetaInfo experts.
In the past, this feature was available to WhatsApp testers on iOS. Now it can be used by some beta testers on Android. The release date of the full version of the messenger on all platforms with a working sticker editor has not been announced.
