For many years now, one of the most basic functions of any device has been the ability to create multiple timers. In the case of Apple devices, however, this led soooo time to be implemented!
In the case of the Apple Watch, the function was only incorporated from watchOS 8. On the iPhone/iPad it is even more recent, having arrived with the launch of iOS/iPadOS 17.
With this, you can create them if you are doing more than one thing at the same time, such as baking a cake and also monitoring the time of some other task.
In the paragraphs ahead, we’ll show you how to use this in practice on your iPhone or iPad. ⏲️
First method
Open the Clock app on your device and select the “Timers” tab. Once you have started using the first timer, tap the “+” (in the top left corner) and choose a new time using the hours, minutes and seconds sliders.
Further down, you can also add a label (name) for it, in addition to choosing the sound that will be emitted when the countdown ends.
If you prefer, you can also tap one of the presets at the bottom. In total, Apple offers the following options:
1 minute 2 minutes 3 minutes 4 minutes 5 minutes 15 minutes 20 minutes 30 minutes 45 minutes 1 hour 2 hours
While the timers are scrolling, tap the pause button to pause it or swipe from right to left to delete it.
Second method
The second method is even simpler: just use Siri to create as many alarms as you want. When opening the “Clock” app and tapping “Timers”, a list of all active timers will be shown on the screen.
Finally, huh! ????
