We recently reported that the WhatsApp released an option that allows you to create and edit stickers within the iPhone application itself. For those who don’t remember, a similar solution was already available in the macOS app and also on the web.

Now, however, this process has become much easier. In this article, we’ll show you how to create and edit stickers in the iOS app.

First of all, it’s good to be clear that it is being released gradually to users who are running iOS 17 or later versions. If you haven’t received this function yet, keep an eye out as it will certainly be available very soon.

Without further ado, see how to use it! ????

How to create a sticker on WhatsApp on iPhone

Open WhatsApp and tap a conversation. Then, select the stickers icon, located inside the text box. Go to the “+” to open your smartphone’s photo gallery and you can choose an image that you want to turn into a sticker.

Depending on the image, you can use it with a background or without it — in the latter case, WhatsApp itself removes the background and applies a white border. In addition to the image itself, it is also possible to apply an emoji, other stickerstext or a drawing on top of the sticker you are creating.

When you are satisfied with the result, select the blue submit button. With this, it will be saved in the messenger’s sticker drawer, like any other.

If you already have a sticker saved and want, for some reason, to edit it, WhatsApp also allows you to do this on the iPhone. Open the conversation and tap the stickers icon.

Then, press and hold your finger on the sticker and tap “Edit sticker” to make the desired adjustments. Then, send it to the contact.
