How to configure hidden “buttons” on the back of the iPhone

Apple has always been well known for releasing new features aimed at accessibility — allowing a wide range of people to use your products and services.

One of them came with iOS 14, called Play Back (Back Tap). The idea is that you perform some actions on your iPhone just by touching the back of the smartphone, as if it were a kind of hidden “button”.

Despite being designed as an accessibility feature, any user can take advantage of it.

See below how to activate! ????

Make sure you are running iOS 14 or later on an iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X or newer. Then open Settings, tap “Accessibility” and go to Touch » Touch Back.

You will be able to choose, first of all, whether you want to use a double or triple tap for the desired action. Therefore, you can configure two commands using “Play Back”, depending on how many times you tap the back of the device.

After making this choice, select the action that you like best. Apple offers options ranging from the Accessibility Shortcut, through system adjustments (such as locking the screen, activating the flashlight or returning to the Home screen) to accessibility area actions, scrolling gestures and shortcuts created within the Shortcuts app (Shortcuts).

Did you already know this function of the system? ????
