Furina was officially announced during the Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Special Program on November 2nd. Previous leaks revealed that players can now collect some materials needed to ascend Furina in version 4.1 of Genshin Impact. Check below the list of all the materials that the hydro archon needs to be evolved.
1x Varunada Lazurite Flake
9x Fragmento de Lazurita Varunada
9x Piece of Varunada Lazurite
6x Gema de Lazurita Varunada
46x Water That Failed To Transcend
168x Lake Light Flower
18x Giant Flower Nectar
30x Bright Nectar
36x Elemental Nectar
In addition to the above items, the player will need to obtain 7.1 million Mora and 419 Hero EXP for maximum ascension. Materials such as Lake Light Flower and “Water That Failed To Transcend” can now be found in Erinnyes Forest and Chemin de L’Espoir, respectively.
The “Water That Failed To Transcend” can be obtained following defeating the Tulpa Hydro boss in Genshin Impact 4.2. Varunada Lazurite materials can be obtained by defeating Hypostasis Hydro and Oceanid.

The Justice talent books can be obtained in Forgotten Pale Glory, a domain located northeast of Poisson, submerged in Fontaine. Note that this place only offers the books of justice on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The weekly boss Devouring Whale will make available the remaining materials, which are necessary to evolve Furina’s talents.
Launch and availability
Furina, the hydro archon, will be released in Genshin Impact 4.2, which will be available on November 8, 2023. HoYoverse’s popular open-world RPG is currently available on Android and iOS cell phones (iPhone), as well as Windows PCs and consoles from Sony (PS4 and PS5).
