iOS 17 brought the mode On hold (StandBy), which allows you to view various information on your iPhone while it is horizontal and charging. It’s like turning your smartphone into a kind of clock radio — being able to view more than just the time, but also your photos and Live Activities, for example.
With the release of iOS 17.1, Apple brought some extra options for owners of iPhones with an Always-On Screen (iPhones 14 Pro/14 Pro Max and 15 Pro/15 Pro Max).
Now, you can choose between three options to turn off the device’s screen: automatically (it will use ambient light and the use of the iPhone to turn it off), following 20 seconds or never.
Check out how to change this setting! ????
On the iPhone, open Settings, tap “Standby” and “Screen”. Then, in the “Turn Off Screen” area, choose one of the three options:
Automatically After 20 Seconds Never
Simple, right?! ????
