Os AirPods They have already become essential accessories for many people — thanks to their ease of use and easy connection to all your Apple devices. In the most recent firmware versions of these headphones, Apple brought several new features.
One of them is the possibility of pressing the AirPods/AirPods Pro stem — or the Digital Crown on AirPods Max — once to mute/unmute the microphone during a call you’re on, or press twice to end the call.
You can also change this behavior so that the microphone is muted with two clicks. As a consequence, when pressing on the rod or Digital Crownthe call will end.

No iPhone/iPad
With the AirPods connected, open Settings and tap the name of the headphones (at the top). Then, in the “Connection Controls” section, select “Power off” or “Mute and Unmute” and choose between the two options available:
“Press Once” “Press Twice”
No Mac
On your Mac, open System Settings and select AirPods in the left sidebar. Then choose one of the two options under “Power off or Mute and Unmute”.
